Volunteers Are Essential

Volunteer opportunities abound at Ready for Rescue. We need folks to lend a hand at adoption events and fundraisers, pick up animals from shelters and deliver them to our foster homes, vets and adoption events. We often need a hand driving our friends to homes outside of New York City.

Following up with adopters is an important part of our mission and we'd love to have you pitch in. We also have general admin that you can do from the comfort of your own home.

Just putting your name on our mailing list (below) helps Ready for Rescue. You can forward our pleas for animals in need of foster or forever homes to your friends, families and co-workers!
